The line up at a Santa Cruz locals only spot.
Don’t ask and don’t paddle out; sharky, rocky, cliffy and LOCALIZED.
Extreme Long Peroid Swell Coming 31st and 1st - Plenty Swell all week with extra size on the 28th. Then look for something special on the 31st and 1st as East side Santa Cruz could look like J-Bay for a few hours as the extreme long period swell energy rolls in!
Fortunately everyone was OK; they were out of town at the time. Some quick action by Denise Godfrey and 15 other local volunteers with chain saws and tarps stopped/slowed the continued downpour of rain from filling the house with water as the storm continued to slam into the West Coast.
The great waves and weather of last week is over. Victory at sea for most surf locals and lots of rain is on track for coming week.
Tons of snow on the West coast mountain ranges will be sweet for powder hounds; you know who you are. Be safe and enjoy bouncing around on pillows of soft cold love.
