Classic should have been there yesterday, but was still fun enough for a go out today!

Cornice Launch Alpine Meadows - Boardz.com archives!

This shot is great. Everyone was inching off the sides and doing S turns.

Then this guy came along and launched the middle; nailed the landing between the rock and the tree and did one big bottom turn across the bowl!

That cornice also broke off under one of the next guys to go slow off the drop.

Please be cautious around cornice. Word of advice; don’t stand on or under these frozen wind sculpted waves because they will eventually fall. This can kick off big slides or dangerous rolling snow chunks.

Be safe and live to ride another day!

Working on some new features; here is the new surf forecast look.

It is big today and should get bigger tomorrow and really big Saturday. Then tails off into next week.

Weather is holding so far with light winds if you are South enough.
