There is a solid swell coming, but unfortunately for Central California it is a SE swell. Southern California will see this swell, but only a few locations in Big Sur and the tip of Pt. Reyes will get any of this action. If you were thinking of a trip to SoCal, this week would be a good one to go down and enjoy a SE swell and some warmer water. Up here in Central California, there still is a fading SSW swell for the weekend. There will also be some WNW wind swell through the forecast period providing knee to waist with occasional chest high sets for the N Coast and Ocean Beach. Summer weather pattern continues with foggy mornings and afternoon onshore winds.
