The surf has been a very small this summer in Santa Cruz. Looks like it has been a good summer for SoCal as they get the SE swells that mostly miss us and the general size of swells have not been to strong for the miles of beach breaks. It has been consistant for lots of fun surfable days down there. Up in Central California the water does not warm as much and some summers can be small and inconsistant like this summer has been. Pretty small currently in Santa Cruz with continued small ankle to knee high SSW swell through the week. Next chest high SSW due for Friday and into next weekend. San Francisco will see the small SSW swells this week and get some WNW wind swell mixed in for occasional chest high surf with possible smooth mornings/days.
