Diamond Peak is a home town ski resort located on the North shore of Lake Tahoe in Incline Village Nevada. It is owned and operated by the town and is very family friendly with excellent terrain and facilities for beginners to advanced riders. There is not much for extreme shredders, usually gets the least snow fall of all the Tahoe resorts, and parking can get full on big weekends and holidays, but during good snow years this place hides all kinds of powder in the trees and canyons. Oh yes, there is no way to over look the incredible views of the lake and the spring skiing is the best with beautiful afternoons on the West facing slopes. Cons – it is not Squaw Valley. Pros – it is not Squaw Valley.
