Mt. Shasta Ski Park Webcams

Mt. Shasta is an impressive potentially active volcano with an elevation of 14,179 ft (4,322 m) in the far Northern part of California. I have flown over and driven by several times; it looks huge even from afar and majestically pokes its peaks way above the surrounding terrain.

Mt. Shasta Ski Park has 635 acres of skiable terrain, 2,036 vertical feet, 38 trails, the longest run is 2+ miles long, base area elevation is 5,500’ and their new lift gets you to the top at 7,536 feet. The new lift this season is the Gray Butte Quad that expanded the expert terrain and added more elevation to the resort. They also have 2 backcountry cabins for hire; I am not sure if that area is accessible to regular ticket and season pass holders. Could not find anything about backcountry gates or out of bounds access on the inter-webs or their web site so probably not. It looks like a lot of fun on powder in the winter and toasty afternoons in the spring with the West facing aspect.
